Team L

I got to see Team L this weekend!

Well, Laney on Friday at a 3d/4d sonogram to verify it was in fact a girl. Yippee! I adore her already, I can't imagine the true feeling of her actually being here. She sure is prancing around in there though, it's such an odd sensation to feel that stomach dropping feeling to me. It almost reminds me of a roller coaster but not quite. I wish I knew the words. But she is a thumb sucker so far.....just like her momma and daddy! During the sono, she would move her hands all around and always the thumb went back into her little mouth. Here is a picture below..... she is moving really fast and they were lucky to get these pics! And she is still pretty small but sooooo precious to my heart!

And I saw Lesley and my Momma over the weekend in Dallas! Lel flew in from NJ and goes back for a little while before she starts PA school in Dallas! She will be close again! We went and saw Wicked on Saturday and shopped/ate/the usual stuff. We bought Laney some precious little dresses though that are just so petite! And we looked fo find Lel a place to live in Uptown and found some super cute places! I can't wait to help her decorate and get settled into her own place. I remember those single days and sometimes miss them! I also got to see Niki and her little boy Nicholas! What a happy baby he is!

Matthew has finals all week and his first one was on Saturday at 8 am. Yuck. I envy his courage for going through law school, four hour exams, and sacrificing sleep at his own whim and desire in pursuit of his goals. Most likely now, it will turn out to be a blessing we have different sleeping schedules, I think that will help when Baby C is here! Here is me at 19 weeks....next week I'll be halfway!

Two Randoms:

First, I was going through early pregnancy things and here is a poem my clever little sister wrote when we first found out we were pregnant. It is hilarious! You can tell what she was pulling for .....


Our baby...

Our little jelly bean baby
At first it was just a "maybe"

That damn doctor at the emergency room
Said that baby wasn't in your womb

That dumb a$$
He needed to spend more time in class
or maybe OBGYN class he didn't pass?

Back to our girl...
The one that will have beautiful curls

Or our boy
The one that will fill Matthew's heart with joy

I know she doesn't even have nubs yet
But next week they will be developing I bet

I'm so excited about this little girl
Does thinking about labor make you want to hurl?

Due on September 21st,
I think your water is gonna burst

Weird to think you're gonna be a mother!
Maybe next year, you can give her a brother?

Also, I'm losing brain cells very quickly it appears. I couldn't remember to save my life if I closed the garage door Monday morning and I didn't know what to do. I don't have any neighbors phone numbers so I called the police. They actually sent someone by the house and called to let me know not only that the garage door was closed but there was not any suspicious activity. I was pretty impressed with the Round Rock Police Department since it was a non emergency call and I was just some idiot pregnant girl!
