Thursday, or last night, I headed to the Big D for Lesley's white coat ceremony. Isn't she a precious little PA or will be someday?! What a big girl she is growing up to be! I am so proud of my baby sister. She won't be the only one I baby in my life for too long!
Then I headed back for work this morning at about 4:30 am. As I sit here typing I wonder if Laney gets tired like I do. I won't lie, I drink coffee sometimes still. I can't help it, I love it again and to me it's a treat. But then we are wired! But Starbucks should NOT be so expensive. While I'm on my soap box......
I've had my second run in with City Services in Round Rock, Texas. I have pregnancy brain. At about 11:00 last night I started freaking out about leaving the iron plugged in at home. I'm not sure why since I hadn't thought of it until 11:00 pm. But I did and it seemed too late to call our landlord and no one else has a key except our parents. Well, we called the Round Rock Fire Department while I was in Dallas since it would take me 3 hours to get home and be too late by then. And, as good samaritans do, they sent a crew out with a truck and all to check on the "status" of our home. In fact, I talked to the lieutenant and several other fire men. They turned off our braker (luckily outside!) to turn off the electricity just in case it was plugged in. But no flames, no fire, no smoke. In fact, this morning when I drove in I went by the house and the iron was put up in the laundry room as it should be. I'm losing it. Enough on my loss of brain cells......

But there were a lot of fun to take! I went to San Antonio with my friend Debbie from work and met Lindsay there too. Then Kristen took my pictures! It was a lot of fun, although I didn't feel too well once I got there and I was a little camera shy at first. Still, they turned out pretty clever and I have them for Laney to see her pregnant Momma someday!
