I always used to sing and dance to this song with the kids I babysat in college and it has been on my mind as of late. Shockingly! Since I only have 6 more weeks if I carry full term, which it seems no one does, but with my luck I probably will go over!
They had me cut the cake, great idea by the way. I can't cut cake not pregnant but that just took too much effort. I am really lazy these days I'm pretty certain. I definetely walk more than run and going to my classes at the Y everyone is always afraid I'm going to go into labor. It's kind of funny, although if it happened I'd freak!

The ten pieces of toilet paper that fit around my waist!
We have our next appointment on Thursday and then the big/last sonogram at week 36. I can't hardly wait to see her again! Time is flying by but I am really ready to kiss those fingers and toes! I'll post pics of the nursery as soon as we get our crib! We expect it anyday now but we shall see.....
Anyway, this past weekend we took our Childbirth Class. Matthew and I laugh because he and I both know there won't be much calmness with me in labor. Or deep breathing, lamaze, all that jazz. I will try but I am certain I will be the type that fights the contractions instead of thinking about something soothing and peaceful, if only that fit my personality. Everytime I tried to during the practice session instead of the ocean or flowers I kept thinking of running. But that is my peaceful place and passion!
Some of the women from Virginia's church threw the shower and they played a game where they guessed how many pieces of toilet paper would go around my waste. My mother guessed 250, awesome, considering it only had to be wrapped around once. She was confused at the game at first but it ended up taking 10. I had guessed 12 and thought it would be closer to 18. I think when I deliver it might be closer to the latter.
And here was the test to see how many pieces, at almost 34 weeks!
And a picture with Laney's two grandmother's. I can't believe it! It's such an exciting thing to think that the birth of a child doesn't just change Matthew and I, but it changes the entire Berg and Crowell family. What a blessing that I can't wait to experience and feel. We are going to wait and see what Laney calls her grandparents though. Hopefully it will be names that are clever and unique, although it will take a little while for those words to come I know.

What a SWEET shower...I love the cake. How funny your mom chose 250...I would have thought she would have chose 273:) Time is ticking and I think how close Mason's first b-day is and that could end up being Laney's big day too!! How crazy would that be!! You are still looking precious...I tried the toilet paper thing just a minute ago...I won't tell you how many I have NOT pregnant :)
You are TOO cute! I want to see more pics from the side to see how big that belly REALLY is!
Her belly really IS as big as it looks in pictures! Not everyone can be as cute as she is pregnant...I'll probably be a whale.
