Yesterday my team and the the central accounting department had a double shower for Stephanie and me. We are so thankful and were so impressed with the beautiful job they did. It's crazy b/c Steph and I are not only on the same team but our due dates are one day apart! It has been a blast having someone to go through pregnancy with on about a daily basis (if pregnancy can be fun)!

Our cake from Lucy's in Downtown Austin, yum! I've never had such great "shower" cake and since I'm not a white cake and usually chocolate cake person, we both loved it!
Our precious team! Nancy on the far left, me, Stephanie, Debbie, Sandra and in the back Brad and Janna! What a group, I just love them all! I am really going to miss everyone on my maternity leave. But I can hardly wait for Laney to get to meet everyone I work with!

I think we were both so happy to celebrate with people that we care about and amazed at everything they did for us. And it made this pregnancy all the more real and me all the more eager to meet Laney and Steph's precious little boy! Janna reading us the sweet poem below! She is one of the sweetest and most emotional people I know and I'm lucky to have had her training me over the past several months. 
38 week update: No dialation and 60% effacement. I think Laney is being stubborn and I just hope to have her by my due date. I kind of have a feeling she'll take her sweet time. And these last couple of weeks of pregnancy are def the hardest for me! I'm so jealous of people who get to go early and am still keeping my fingers crossed! I don't want to get induced but if I go past my due date I most likely will.

what a fun shower! i just love that you are so happy at WF...i am sad i won't see little laney when she arrives...but you will post lots of pictures, right? i will miss you friend. alot. i can't wait to see laney!
She will come in her own perfect time, but I know it must be hard to wait! Enjoy the last few days...if that's possible...I wouldn't really know. :) Can't wait to see her!
Hey, love the cake and the view....I know Laney will LOVE cake too :) she will have a sweet tooth like her aunt andrea and mom :)
