Day In and Day Out

The Crowell Family had a very fun weekend and I meant to post more pictures with our Easter ones! Anyway, day in and day out with Miss Laney Kate.........

On Friday night Matthew surprised me by taking us to the "Oasis". The last time we had been was our rehearsal dinner. Anyway, it is 100% remodeled, gorgeous, and huge! Although the food isn't impressive the site and view of Lake Travis is enchanting! I can't wait to go back for another relaxing evening. Perhaps relaxing isn't the appropriate word with Laney but I've always been a sucker for beautiful views of the water and this one captures me. Hence, our wedding on Lake Travis.

Laney and her prunes for breakfast. Laney's preference for food so far are prunes and carrots. I need to keep trying apple sauce but she is pretty particular on who she will eat from and what she has. Her stubbornness is endearing to me.

Here is the Panda that we had gotten Laney at the San Diego Zoo and she was just talking to her! I felt like she was cheating on her Lion but she loves those stuffed animal friends!

Chloe Laine and Alison Hughes! I was so thrilled to get to see Alison Hare (always to me :)! this last weekend and for our baby girls to meet. Laney adored Chloe and kept trying to get to her. I love it how babies love babies!

And Alison has been a precious friend of mine since the 8th grade! She is one of those rare friends that I can always pick back up with even if we don't see each other for ages! I can't wait to see Alison next time and for our girls to visit again.
Laney loves pop up books and this peek a boo critter in The Very Friendly Firefly. She kept laughing every time I would do the "peek a boo" with it and it was such a fun read. I am going to have to get some more interactive books like this one!

Why do we buy her toys? I am starting to wonder when her entertainment consists of playing, munching, drooling, and grabbing her Daddy's hat.
