Our First Race in Dallas

Weekend in the Big D!

This weekend Lel and I ran in the Butterfly Boogie pushing Laney. It was the most fun I have had running in a 10k or a race for that matter. We finished in 53 minutes and felt strong after the finish! Lesley and I shared the responsibility of pushing Laney and people kept commenting on how proud they were of us for pushing a baby and running! It felt awesome to run again; finally! The finish was on Katy Trail and it was just a memorable run. Thank you sister! I wish I had more pics! I left the camera in the car most of the weekend but we had breakfast at Cafe Brazil and met Lel's new friend Andy. We were going to have date night on Saturday but he got sick. So......Matthew and I went to KOBE Steakhouse still and had a lot of fun with our random grouping. Talk about tattoos, wow. There must have been a conference! I felt like we were in Austin.

This is my favorite picture from the weekend, I just think it was super sweet! Laney was looking in the mirror and holding onto my Momma's face!

What sparkly eyes that both have! Aunt Lesley and Laney Kate.....my baby girls! The four of us....

On the way home we stopped at Daddy's school to show Laney.....

She is very interested in my locket! And, of course, the pictures are of you Laney!

Happy Girl lauging at Matthew saying "Cock a doodle doo!"

That is all I know for now!

I am so proud of you. I wish I had known yall were running, Camden and I would have joined you. I haven't run a race since I was 12 weeks pregnant with Camden (pathetic). Can't wait to see yall at Andy's! We love you and miss you!
