M and I had a little getaway this weekend in San Antonio! We had our favorite sitter, Amaris, watch the girls. We were probably twenty minutes away and it felt like we were in a different city! We stayed at the Westin at La Cantera.
The girls love Amaris. I had a hard time leaving but they were great.
We tried to take pictures in our hotel room before dinner. We didn't check them because we cut M's head off! Ahhh. We are not photographers, clearly.
We spent four or five hours at the adult pool. We didn't think it through with the hotel and all the kids running around. However, since they weren't ours it was still relaxing and a nice celebration with just us. We do date nights at least every two or three weeks. But I realize how necessary it is to have a night away every now and then!
Our cake at Wild Fish! I was so sleepy from all the food we ate but it was a perfect way to celebrate the past few years. For the 5th year I might want to go further!
