Birthday Party II with the Berg's

Laney just turned 3 today! In that, we have been celebrating quite a bit. She was promised three birthday parties for turning 3! She had one with her friends (pictures coming this week--500+ to sort through!) here in San Antonio, a celebration with Lesley at Bumpaws and Mickey's in Abilene, and a celebration in Llano with Paw Paw and B. Then we had our family celebration today and with her friends at school tomorrow. I guess the week long birthday thing starts young!

This weekend was a blur of celebratory fun!

We started off Friday night with dinner at Perini's. M flew in from Houston as he had been out of town on business with the firm. My girls (and Carlotta's and Megan's shirt!) and their matching pink dresses. Thanks Mickey!

Birthday Girls

Lesley and Laney share the same birthday on September 19th. Lesley told Laney the story of "her best birthday ever" several times this weekend. Laney wanted to hear it over and over again. I love this special bond that my baby sister and oldest baby girl have.
My Heart Beat

Time for cake! Laney and Lesley each got their own ice cream cake and they were trick candles on the cake! Laney was so confused at first and then wanted to keep blowing.

Happy Birthday Baby Sister!

Present Time! Laney sitting in her "fabulous" chair from Mickey. Although, I have to admit that Laney said " I can sit in time out here." Awesome she thinks of that!

Bumpaw's card with the infamous Johnny Cash song "Ring of Fire" that is all too familiar in the Crowell household. Thank Love. But oh how your daughter loved it.

The noisemakers....this was the best part of the night. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. I don't know if it was the way Laney was blowing or the silly behavior of every single adult participating in the immaturity. This night was a perfect memory.

Mickey and Laney

Has it really been three years with My Laney!? I have the more sentimental post coming but life goes by doesn't it? I adore this little fire ball that looks just like her Daddy and acts like her Momma. Thank heaven for this endearing little girl!

We had a wedding shower Saturday morning for my brother's fiance, Lauren. Three weeks! My gosh, these two are so young but I know they love each other and every one's story is unique.

More pictures to come on the rest of the birthday celebrations........
