Christmas Cookie and Tea Cup Exchange!

Last year, my dear friend Suzanne, had a Christmas cookie exchange. I enjoyed it immensely! When I found out she was leaving to Lubbock, I just knew we couldn't let the fun tradition leave. This year, Julia and I hosted the 2ND annual cookie party. We added a Tea Cup Exchange to it also. And guess who flew in for the fun?! SuDan! Yippee! A party isn't the same without her.

The cookie name tags to list what kind were brought and by whom.

The girls went out to dinner and to a movie with Mickey. Matthew was out of town hunting with Cox Smith. It all worked out quite well (except for the deer he is trying to hang above our mantle!)
What an enjoyable evening we had! I love my girlfriends and I think, if my math is correct, we had over 1,000 cookies at my house! Lots of calories! Pictured below is table #1. By the end of the evening we had four tables full of sweets. The wassail was delicious and the champagne bubbly!

We also played a couple of games. The first was a list of very difficult, in my opinion, questions on Christmas, movies, books, etc. The winners of Christmas Trivia were Jess and Katie and they both took home cute little prizes!

We also played 2 truths and a lie! You learn lots of interesting things about people and what a time we had with this game. It was a nice ice breaker to get to know each other, tell what kind of cookie brought, and find out how Julia and I knew everyone.

Check out Amber's cookies! I think it's the only picture I got with the assortment. There were many different kinds and they were all delicious. I am certain I ended up with the very most!

I say it all the time, but the meaning holds true, I feel fortunate with happiness and real friendships. This chapter of life has truly been blessed and it's a season that will always be special to me. I learned about famous Megan and her commercial! So proud MP! We tried the timer to get a picture of all of us...best we could do in our itty space!
The Manchke Park Crew. I completely forgot to take pictures of the precious teacups. People put a lot of thought into these and I was quite impressed. I absolutely love the one I got and am excited to collect these little trinkets over the years. What an eventful evening and one I can't wait to
