Landry at 10 Months

Ten months have gone by and Landry has grown into a little person. I truly adore the differences in her personality. She is observant and sly. Yet, she gets her feelings hurt. She demands what she wants and sometimes it is just to be held. Other times it is whatever is in your hand. From the time she was a baby, she looked at me in wonder and amazement. She has a particular gaze and I have grown quite fond of the look.

Landry is a busy baby at only 10 months of age. She is quite observant and sneaky. In this, I will watch her study her sister, sneak off to put something in her mouth, or confiscate whatever is in the nearest trash can. She is a scavenger.

One of her favorite toys is a soft book that you can lift the pages on to see the animals. She generally likes to lift the object and just giggles.

Her babbling sounds more like words these days. She says "MaMa" the very best and a second close is "DaDa". Fitting; teasing. She really enjoys "bye bye" and waving to you. She knows we are pleased because she will do this as we change her diaper or as we are getting ready for bed. Sometimes when we are watching football and she waves to the TV. I feel the same way. The concept is clear though, when Matthew leaves for work she waves.

Patty Cake and "roll em up" is her favorite game. She was taught by Mickey. Everyone time she sees my Momma she starts playing.

Landry has eight teeth. She loves to give kisses. In fact, she will bite on the bulge of my cheek and just laugh. And she will bite on my mouth. Precious baby kisses.

I must note, she does not ever get full. She never turns away food. The only thing she does not like is grits. I did not witness this though, so it may or may not be a truth. I think she is a bottomless pit and love it that she can eat so much.

I often find her hiding, or thinking she is hiding, in Laney's chair in their room. Thus, we got her one for Christmas. Pics to come soon.

She is a crawler. I mean, she can definitely stand up and knows it. But to get to where she is going she speed crawls. Thus, I don't know if she will walk anytime soon, she is pretty satisfied with chasing her sister this way.

Mischief. She loves trying to pull on the strings attached to the blinds.
