School Programs and Play Dates

Every Thanksgiving and Christmas AHUMC has a school program that I eagerly look forward to. I am posting about this a little later than usual but it was precious.

Laney was an Indian and her class had a Thanksgiving feast following the program. I enjoyed this year knowing it was her last Thanksgiving program here. My Momma and the Crowell's came to watch. It's always a fun morning at AHUMC my heart beat sing and perform. What sweet little faces!

This year at Christmas was a little more emotional. The Newton shootings were terribly fresh. I think I can speak for all parents when I admit how fortunate I felt and counted my lucky stars to hold my baby girls in my arms during the holidays. And simply every day.

My angels. What a sweet program it always is and my favorite.

Best family picture we could get.

The Spalten girls; Kate and Avary. We have grown up with these two with Laney and Kate and Landry and Avary being in the same classes and ballet together. What sweet sisters and how I look forward to having our #3's at the same time!

We had a Polar Express Playdate at our house once school was out for the Christmas holidays. The plan was to watch the  Polar Express, drink hot chocolate, hand out bells, and decorate Christmas Trees and snowflakes. There was a lot of singing and screaming and chaos. It was still a lot of fun with the kiddos running around.
