4th of July
For the 4th of July this year we participated in the Alamo Heights Neighborhood Parade. We decorated our double stroller and pushed the girls in the heat. It was a ton of fun. But I mostly remember how hot it was and that I didn't see a single other pregnant woman!
We met up with the Menzel's and Lynn/Will/Opie. It was a really fun parade with about a mile to walk to Cathedral Park. Once we made it then we sang a lot of American songs to celebrate the day. It had a feel like a Norman Rockwell kind of celebration.
We went to the pool for lunch and somehow I ended up diving for coins with Laney. It was actually really hard! But we laughed and had a lot of fun.
Baskin Robbins ice cream to top it off!
Matthew and I shared a banana split. I remember eating these when we lived in Waco. We haven't had one in a long time and I forgot how much I loved them!
Baby on the 4th of July! We went to Cricket and Nick's for a little while and then my parents came to town. It was quite a busy, and fun, day!
Fireworks downtown San Antonio and Fort Sam. We go to Lions Field so we can see both displays!
