Landry's 4th Birthday Party Fabulously Frozen!

When Landry told me she wanted a Frozen birthday party for her 4th party my first thought was "what am I going to do?! It's going to be anything but cold in San Antonio in February."
And I was right. My second thought was, where am I going to get the snow? That just didn't happen this time around.

But the party was still fabulous and frozen. It was kind of like the summer part of the movie I suppose. How I love birthday parties! And I think Landry loved it too. Favorite pics with her and the balloons are below.

And fair warning..... I took and posted a lot of pictures! Like, a lot.

Happy 4th Birthday Landry Anne!

Decorations and Ideas were pretty easy and a lot of fun! Thank goodness for Pinterest! And my partner in crime, Jen Menzel.

We built snowmen with cut out Olaf's.

The appetizers and snacks included Snowflake dip and Ritz crackers, thumb print cookies (because we can't hardly have a party without them!), reindeer food, snow covered pretzels, rock candy, snowman popcorn, and thin mints!

The snow play dough party favor's were a hit. And it was super easy to make! Add a little glitter to white play dough and you get snow!

I love the Elsa quote from Etsy.  I actually ended up framing in the girl's room.

The cake and hot chocolate "Glogg" table. And with the summer theme we went with chocolate frosty snow milk at the last minute.

The party was actually mostly outside though and in the bounce house. Man, these are awesome. And such a workout. I always make sure to spend some time acting cray in the bounce house with my girls!

Love is an Open Door greeting the guests coming in the front door.
We lined the sidewalk with balloons and were ready to go! This was all Jen's doing and idea too with golf tees!

It was a lovely day for a party. Sun was shining and it wasn't too terribly warm.

I know this picture is blurry but I love how happy Landry was running through the house in her fluffy Elsa dress before the party started like a blurry little ball of fluff! It's party time!

They were both so excited for the party in their Elsa and Anna dresses. These costume dresses could not have turned out any cuter!

Laney was the photographer for a moment......

Laney getting her shoes on and ready to be Anna!

These two. Landry and Leyton share a special bond. Landry is such a care taker to her babiest sister. Even on her special day she wanted to spend time with Leyton.

Alright birthday girl! It's your party! Let's do this thing! Only a few more pictures for your Momma who still can't believe you are my four year old!

Inside at  the activities tables included snowflake tattoos, reindeer antlers, Elsa crowns, mustaches, nail polish, snow hair clips, and wands!

Landry waiting on her snowflake tattoo...

Can I just say that I love the girls dresses. How princessy, fluffy, poofy, and happy they are!

 My Landry.

This is actually a funny story. On the way to get Laney from school one day Landry blurts out "Mom, we have a problem. We don't have any trolls for the party." Wow. My daughter. The party planning craze has gotten to her and I hadn't thought of it. So, we lucked out and made a little troll patch that morning.

You can't really see the billion snowflakes that we hung the day before with Mickey and Bumpaw. But they were there dangling like little flurries!

Getting glittered and sparkly hair before the party!

The guests began to arrive and Landry was waiting to answer the door for her party!

Happy, happy, happy that her friends were arriving!
All these little princesses were precious in their dresses.

 Most handsome reindeer!

Baby besties!!!! Born two hours apart!

 Working on their Olaf's!

 The piñata waiting on us....

The crazy pink castle bounce house. Most of the kids were in it.

However, a lot of the girls were watching Frozen inside.

When the doorbell rings! Who do you think it is?!

Queen Elsa!!!!

I don't know that Landry knew what to think about Queen Elsa's surprise visit!

Queen Elsa begins to sing "Let It Go" for all of these children! And they looked pretty happy about it!

This is the best. Landry is always sucking her thumb. I just love these innocent faces.

And then we said goodbye to Queen Elsa. Landry was kind of ready to get back in the bounce house.

But a lot of the girls followed Elsa out......

Landry wanted to get back in her own castle!

Landry had the best time and was so happy! I love this picture of her climbing the slide of the bounce house! Pure joy!

Oh Landry. Your multi tasking cracks me up.
This is Daddy asking her if she is ready for her cake?

Yes she was ready for her cake!

Matthew in action with the knife and ice cream.

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Landry, Happy Birthday to You!

Matthew brought Landry her piece of cake and I love that he gave her Elsa's face. He does some of the cutest, quirkiest, things and she loved it.

All the sweet friends made this day very special and fun. Love all of these friends we've made here in SA.

Lastly, we did the Olaf piñata. I was a little surprised Landry took a turn. She usually shys away from piñatas.

My saving grace. Jen took Leyton for a little while. The thought of throwing a party without her now terrifies me.

The piñata did not last very long. And little Leni Hargesheimer was devastated. I love this face.  I love her.  We made sure to give her extra candy.

Barefoot beauty as the party comes to an end.

Leyton was sitting pretty in the Ergo most of the party. She slept a good bit too, somehow.

Our marriage survived another birthday party. M isn't a fan of these but he's always a lot of help.
The behind the scenes is truly the only way these happen. My Momma and Dad and M. I really could not pull these parties off without the crew. These little slots of time we get with those that we love are really important to me. Especially the older I get, I realize how precious these moments are.

I will never forget all the planting my Dad did for me. He put together the most beautiful display of flowers with dandelions and snapdragons and more. They make me so happy. And everyday since, whenever I look at the flowers, I think of him.

And the after party. Love these girls. Besties. I mean, no words for friends that have seen you at worst, known you at your worst, and love you regardless. And will jump in bounce houses with you like wild women! Friends experiencing life with and simply blessed to have them in my life.

The kids had an equal amount of fun after the party. These pictures crack me up. Gavin driving all the ladies around and Otto just as happy as can be.

A few more bounces in the house before the Momma's got in!

The saddest part of these birthdays is when they are over. Well not all of us are sad. One little girl was pretty happy.

This year we let all the balloons go as a family and made wishes. I think I know what we all wished for.....Disney World!!!!!

The Frozen Party was a memorable moment and time with friends, family, and a very special four year old.

Color selection for the birthday theme is really soothing and preparations are mind blowing though. Chosen one of the sophisticated Venues in NYC for our annual official meet next week. All the best bookings are done. And fingers crossed to get outstanding applause from my boss and clients.
