Pumpkin Patch

We made it to pick out a pumpkin this past Sunday. And it was quite different from our visit last year. She was so little and dependent on us. And her eyes seemed to always follow me. Back to the present, Laney loved touching many, many pumpkins. She was into all the displays.......literally.We pulled her around in the wagon as she perused her choices. We took a picture with a headless scarecrow (?).And Laney finally picked her pumpkin (with my help).And we took it home to sit on our front porch. Last year, we got an itty pumpkin for a bitty baby. This year we got the biggest one for a growing girl! My heart aches at how quickly this time called "parenthood" whisks by. But the memories, I will take them all.
