Holiday Season

It has been a special holiday season this December. It's been fairly eventful for a year end and we are about half way through. It has consisted of several activities and pictures that I must sum up and other activities that bear no proof. But I have learned that the good stuff is about 2 feet tall and weighs 21 lbs. She keeps everything youthful and merry. And is a constant reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

A Team Build at Blue Santa with Whole Foods.

And a confession that I will post about soon enough; the acceptance of Matthew's job offer in San Antonio, Texas. The Cox Smith Matthews Christmas party was lovely. And all of the future attorney's M will work with seem like a lot of fun. At least I will see the perks! The Christmas parade in Fredericksburg.....The Trail of Lights Run that has become a tradition! Looks like we will make it back to Austin.

And some of our Christmas pictures that Carrie took at Town Lake.

We just went to a cookie exchange that Laney and I made sugar cookies for and what a fun mess! Laney ended up with pink icing covering her feet instead of the cookie I gave her to coat. Good stuff. We had the team holiday party at Steph's, and another Christmas party coming up this weekend, and I pulled off a last minute garage sale last weekend. We have way too much stuff for a move.

We still have a few things to check off the list at my house:

1. Going to see Santa Clause--I am eager for L's reaction this year.

2. Make our gingerbread house.

3. Finish/Start Christmas shopping.

4. Going home to Abilene for the holidays!
