Has anyone ever been stuck in an elevator? Well, until today, I had not. But for the longest five minutes this afternoon I was. Maybe it was ten, I don't really know. I was going to grab lunch downstairs and talking to our Executive Admin when we noticed we weren't moving. I punched Plaza Level again and still nothing. It took us a few minutes to decide we were stuck I think. Panic. Not really panic but annoyed, get me out, what if there is a fire panic. Then I got to push the help button. All that does is notify the "helper" that someone is stuck. Whole Foods was then notified and came to get us out. All I did was fill out a simple report and shake it off. But ugh, not an experience I want to do again. I have a better understanding of claustrophobic and the fear of not knowing what will happen next.
I vow to take the stairs. At least until I'm not shaky!

Yep...that happened to me once at my old job! It was terrible! I was in the parking garage elevator all by myself for 1/2 and hour!!! UUGGHHH..
That's never happened to me... oh that makes me never want it to happen... when i was little I used to be so afraid of elevators!
