I Heart Frisco, CO

Last week my family headed to our annual vacation spot in Frisco, Colorado. And this year, more than any, I was ready to get out of the Texas heat. What fun we had in a short period of time! I could stay for weeks and just be lazy riding bikes around town and sitting drinking coffee on the back porch. Matthew was unable to go due to a sudden death in the family. I missed him very much and it was hard for me being apart during this time. And it was especially hard meandering through the airport without him and Laney on my hip. I don't want to travel without Daddy again. But Laney was entertaining as usual and the Berg's had a good time. And the time I spent with Laney was very sweet and fun! I got to do things with her that we hadn't done before and loved seeing her get excited over them!

Look who made it! Lesley and Andy and Bumpaw! Saturday morning we woke up and went on a bike ride around Frisco. I took Laney with me in the cart behind the bike! I love these nifty inventions people have though of to include your children on outdoor activities!

We headed to Eric's for dinner. It's a pizza place that we love. I beat pac man! Well, I got to the last level and kept going. I guess that is what happens, I hadn't done that before so who knows! I called Matthew so excited!

Alpine Slide in Breckenridge on Sunday. We hadn't done this in several years. And I got to take Laney on it with me! It was a blast, we yelled the whole way down. And riding the lift up was exciting too. Lesley, Lanes, and I were the only ones who did it twice. And Laney sat with Les on her sled that time down.

Lunch at Clint's Sandwich Shop in Breckenridge; Laney loved her peanut butter jelly time! Lesley and Andy were getting ready to head back. I miss my sister.

The end of our trip quickly came and went. I always miss the weather but we will be going back very soon at Thanksgiving! I can hardly wait except this time we will get to see snow!
