Five Months Flashes By

Landry turned five months old! Busy doing all the things that babies do but this second time around truly flies. I went to visit a friend with a newborn the other day and just looked at my five month old. The baby phase goes by so fast.

Some of the things that Landry is busy doing include:

Can you say oral phase? Everything is going in the mouth.

She has two teeth! They are both on the bottom and giving her fits. But we give her lots of ice and let her suck on a water cup. Can you sort of see them?

She is scooching and can make it pretty far across the room.

She laughs with and at Laney. True adoration. Before bed they have this little giggle routine they do. Laney leans over the moses basket  and they just laugh. It is the sweetest sound. I'm overjoyed sometimes with looking at my daughter's. I am glad that they have each other and love the way the do.

Landry loves cereal. I can't get it to her mouth quick enough with the spoon. And ice out of these little deals!

She is a great sleeper! She typically goes to bed around 10 pm and wakes up at 7 am. I just didn't get this with Laney. However, with the teething we've had a few 2 am nights.

She will reach out and up for me. Love it!

Little swimmer. We go to the Alamo Heights pool frequently and she is just a natural, as I'm sure most babies are. I love the happiness when she swims and kick, kick, kicks when she swims.

Blue Eyes. I'm still in love with them and pray they stay light in hue. Everyone says they are too blue too change but only One knows. Besides, everyone thought I was having a boy! No matter what color, both of my girls have the most beautiful eyes.

Family Time. We had just gotten home from "Eclipse" (awesome.) and the girls were wide awake! Our children. They attacked their Daddy.

When she wakes up from nap time just all smiles it melts my heart! Peering over the edge of the crib and finding this....true joy.
