Happy Father's Day

Happy Father’s Day to my husband and the father of our two beautiful girls. They are the reason he gets to celebrate this day, which I think I constantly reminded him yesterday when he wanted a break from parenting. The love. We slept in late (for us), grilled out steaks and watched golf the majority of the day. I became a bit crafty and made tissue paper pom poms, a wreath for a shower, and I also recovered from a crazy week and took the day off from exercise. In truth, most of the day was spent putting together this:

Yes, we finally joined the 21st century, about five years late, and invested in an LCD TV. I won’t pretend to understand the jargon but Matthew will finally have a TV he loves to watch all of his favorite sports teams. I must admit, I do like it too. I just am not a TV watcher lately but I do wish I had a show that I loved to watch on it.
Anyway, we enjoyed the laid back kind of day that Matthew loves.
Been meaning to post this picture. Thought it was fitting. It pretty much sums up the differences in our parenting styles.
Happy Father’s Day to my Daddy and Bumpaw Berg! Our girls love going to Abilene, playing in the fort, and seeing Mickey and Bumpaw's house. I’m lucky to have a Dad that adores his children and his grand children.

Happy Father’s Day to Richard and Paw Paw Crowell! The girl’s love going to the ranch too! They really enjoy riding in the mule and feeding the cows with their Paw Paw.
I'm happy to have all of these wonderful men in my life and in my children's.
