Landry at 15 Months

Landry Anne is hard to catch in front of the camera these days. She is quite the speedy little toddler and a silly one too. Her eyes are still the bluest blue and her hair is blond as it comes. I cannot believe she is mine but am so glad that she is.

We just had her 15 month wellness check. She weighed in at 22.8 lbs and is still in the 50% range; although I don't know how. I tease and say she is like Big Baby in Toy Story 3 but only in the most loving way. She is 31 inches in the 80% for height. She loves to suck her thumb and has a sweet and feisty nature. Landry adores Laney and wants to be doing everything that her big sister does. Landry loves to play chase and run away from everyone. She has always tried to sneak away by running down the side walk, out of the gate, and apparently down the road at the ranch in Llano. She crinkles her nose, laughs with us, throws herself down, and eats everything she can including crayons. She is quite mischievous and gets into cabinets, matches, prenatal vitamins, index cards, Cd's, the list is limitless and boils down to anything that she can get her hands on. Every time she sees a picture of herself she wants to look at it and says "baby, baby, baby" and I remember when she was.

She is turning into a little toddling girl with her own unique personality and persistent nature.

Some of her favorite words right now:
Baba- bottle (which we are still trying to take away)
Dada- Daddy (her favorite parent-clearly)
Mama- Me
Yaney-Laney (my favorite word to hear her say)
Night Night
Aqua/Water
Baby
Belly
No (loves to shake her head to tell us no too)
Manamana- Eating/Hungry
Gaga- (I do not know what she is telling me on this one but she says it a lot)
Ga Ku- Thank You
Bo bo- ouchie /hurt (she will point to my mole and say Bo Bo! Too funny)

We tried to take a few pictures today of Miss Landry. Laney did too, this was her first photo shoot and she did great! I just can't seem to catch  her in front of the camera lately as she is just on the move.

A view of her blond hair, for now. I know Matthew's was light haired as a child and as he grew older it darkened. Still, I'm enjoying the uniqueness of the girls.

I think her personality is a lot like Matthew. She can be more laid back and calm but also gets wild too. I do get "she looks just like you" a lot and I really don't see it at all but I do hope to one day. Still, I adore this baby girl. I see the bond that sisters quickly form and find myself looking forward to the years ahead but loving the moments that we are in.

Happy 15 Months my Landry Anne. Lysvm.
