Four the Love of Tea!

Laney's 4th Birthday might have been the best birthday that she has had yet! At least the best party I've thrown for her. It was just what she wanted; tea with princesses. We had her Princess Tea Party at Lambermont Castle. The history of this home is enchanting and divine. It was the perfect place for a little girl's birthday and a a fanciful affair. Dona, the owner, is the most thoughtful and kind lady. I have never enjoyed planning a party as much as I did with her expertise and help! She was amazing!

Clearly, Laney was very excited to be dressed up as a princess in "HER" castle.

The decor was, well the house itself. But some of the touches:

Pom poms, I rarely do a party without them and this was no exception.

Sprinkles for the cupcake decorating...

The tea party room. It was the 3rd floor of Lambermont.
The cupcakes; they were strawberry with cream cheese icing and the girls and boys were able to decorate to their hearts content!

The magical wands! These were such a hit and super easy to make!

The sugar cookies were delicious! I borrowed the recipe from my sweet friend Sara Sharpe and they turned out pretty well. They were in the shapes of tea pots and cups.

Laney's tea pot cake!

The little princess. She refused to wear any of the dresses we had; so we had this adorable ribbon outfit that worked perfectly for the party. She wasn't digging the crown though.

Everyone gathered downstairs greeting the guests arrival. Laney and Mickey were watching from the window.

Sweet little ones lining up at the windows...

I love this picture of them looking outside! I wish my flash had been working a little better. Anyway, the outside picture will probably be precious too!

Everyone lined up to hike the three flights of stairs.

The tea party begins. Everyone took a royal seat and received their wands, tiaras, swords, and crowns.

Sweet little ones; Charlotte, Landry, Leni, and Sophia. I tried to have a special set up with colors and tables so the toddlers wouldn't be bored. Landry was all over the place though!

 Decorating cupcakes...

Cake Time and Happy Birthday to Laney!(Matthew emerged from the Cowboy's game for the singing....)

We even had a fashion show where every one's name was called and they twirled, danced, showed off their Royal Attire!

The birthday girl "Princess Laney" went first..

Sweet Sophia, I loved this pic of her sitting with her dress all around!

The sweet girls getting introduced...Princess Sarita..

We opened up some presents....

And then we went outside to do a pinata....

Britton was hysterical! He was quite aggressive and wild with that pinata and the most adorable little knight!

Here is a picture of Lambermont....

With the help of Daddy she busted open the pinata!!!

Laney says goodbye to her sweet schoolmates...

The one picture I got of the four of us.

What a fun 4th birthday party!

What a fun day we had celebrating four years of my heart beat! I love birthday parties! Throwing them together and then pulling them off, what fun it was. Good bye Laney's 4th Birthday, let's enjoy this year!
