Last Day of School

Laney's last day of school this year was bittersweet. I've always struggled with the "growing up" right before my eyes. I get so sentimental and when I saw what she had made and done through out the year I just cried. Emotional; always have been and never really knew how much I would be with children in the mix.

We looked over the poster we made when she started school and recalled the sweet memories we had then and favorite things. I saw all of her art work that she associated with the different letters of the alphabet. Her Mommy portrait of me; shocking it is in purple. Then her alphabet soup book.

What a great year it has been. We've made wonderful friends at AHUMC and I've seen my Laney grow so much over the past few years. I adore my heart beat today and always and forever!
