Halloween 2013: Best. Halloween. Ever.

What a fun Halloween this year had in store. This truly was the best halloween ever! The big girls enjoyed it so much and Leyton was the cutest peacock ever!

Halloween was a busy day, all day long. Matthew was out of town for an event in Lubbock. I got up and got Laney and Landry ready for school and in their costumes. This was a feat within itself.

After dropping off Landry, shy little girl,

I headed back up to Howard for Laney's Halloween Party.

The activities included Halloween Twister, decorating cupcakes, making beaded bracelets and ghost suckers, and more! All of the Kindergartners were adorable in their costumes.

Then I headed to AHUMC to see Landry and attend her Halloween party.

Leyton was a champ! She really is such a good baby. I can't say it enough, but I got lucky this third time!

By noon I was worn out. And so were these two. We had a quick nap before picking Laney up. These two baby girls look a lot alike sleeping.

Halloween night and Crowell made it back just in time. We painted peacocks on the girls faces.

We started off at the Menzel's with a fabulous display of Halloween appetizers and some excited fairies, peacocks, a cheer leader, princesses, red riding hood, and darth vader. Adorable! We met up with the Menzel's, Blake's, Hornberger's, and Lechler's. It was a fun group.

We roamed Alamo Heights until about 8:30 pm. It was a mission just to keep all the kids alive! I was pretty anxious about them getting run over in the street.

Matthew was in charge.

Laney, and Travis, were the first ones in and out at every house.

These peacocks. I remember Laney this past summer always saying "shake it like a peacock" and then pretending to shimmer her feathers. She knew in May what she wanted to be for Halloween from a visit to Fort Sam with Bumpaw and Mickey.

Landry was all about being safe and visible with her head light. This girl is hilarious.

We went to see Ellen, on our old street, and helped hand out candy!

Ms. Lynn and trick or treating at her house every year!

Baby girl survived the night, what a trooper she was.

Happy Halloween 2013 from the Crowell Crew!
