Cookie Party and Grapevine Polar Express

The annual cookie party was a lot of fun this year too! I got set up early and everything went smoothly. Matthew took the girls to see Frozen and I had a babysitter come watch Leyton. I would have thought three kids, the busyness during the holidays, and hosting would have been more stressful but this year went off without a hitch! Oh I look forward to and love the cookie party! 

One of my favorite touches was the gold sugar glitter on the champagne glasses. 

A few of the cookies set up before the swarm of sugar. It's always shocking to me how many cookies we end up with! And I only had people bring 2-3 dozen this year.

All my sweet friends that came to the cookie party! Every year the group is different and fun in it's own way. I feel so blessed for the different and wonderfully unique friendships I've made here in SA.

The party favors were mini nail polishes by OPI that had "for your mistle toes" on the tags. 

The following day we headed to Dallas to get our suburban from Thanksgiving's nightmare. We did the Polar Express Train at Grapevine with the girls on Friday night.

My sugar bear! She was such a trooper on the drive. We didn't have to stop once to nurse!

They even gave us tickets for our seats......

The decor was impressive and felt like a the Polar Express movie.

The girls were in awe and maybe a little confused. But they enjoyed the dancing and singing on the ride.

We finished the train ride and went to see the musical done by Santa and the elves, then the white chocolate snow milk that we need magic to make. Landry's pretty concerned about that right now and not having any magic.

Fun visit to DFW with the Harcar's and we got back the suburban. We made it back home just in time for a busy holiday party week and to head back out of town for the holidays! December was a whirlwind of a month!
