I saw little Lindsay on Thursday night at Grey Holiday! We had such a good time listening to Steven and his band play. Then a crazy band came on stage that you couldn't really listen to but just watch in shear shock. Really nerdy doesn't begin to describe their appearance. Yet as soon as the music started the band members mystically became much cooler. I think being in the music industry might do that.

Sunday morning I ran my first half marathon!! I didn't realize I'd have such a hard time running 13.1 miles. Most likely from the 1 mile uphill stretch at Mile 4 that was a killer. I never walk because I am too competitive and prideful. However, I did not have a problem slowing down putting one foot in front of the other and letting people pass me. At that point, I just wanted to finish without throwing up. In an hour and 40 minutes I crossed the finish line; the time doesn't show how poorly I felt. I hugged Matthew for the longest time and just wanted to cry. I am thankful I finished and God gave me the legs to run. Near 2,000 people showed up to run at 7:30 am and I kept thinking....we are all crazy. I know it to be true and still the addiction keeps surfacing.

And last night I saw my favorite precious; Mason Michael Schultz. It's the neatest feeling to see your best friend in a baby. He is the most wiggly strong little thing. Andrea is such a cute Momma! He is a lucky little boy! Matthew told him that he was not going to have to go to Tech like both of his parents ;) (that's for you Marcus). I love being his Aunt Laura and am so excited for all of my friends to have babies! I think I definetely want a little boy now!

We couldn't take our eyes off him!

I hope you got some sleep :) I am glad you choose the one of us looking down :) and I am also glad we got to see Aunt Laura. Matthew will be a great father some day to YOUR son!!
hey you...wow! So impressed again!!! Are you doing the marathon in Austin in Feb!? My good friend, Jessica is doing it and we're probably going to watch her! I hope you are too!
I wish I had your motivation. I'm so impressed by you and how hard you've worked!! Since Ryan is getting out of the Marine Corps, he thinks he needs to feed his adrenaline rush, so he's training to do the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon in California. I think both of you are crazy personally, but I'll be your cheerleader all the way!! Love ya. :)
