Busy

Busy. That is the best word that comes to mind to describe this past weekend. Or exhausted. And I assume everyone's life and lives continue to get busier and busier as we all grow up and older. Friday night Matthews parents came to visit and take us to dinner. Matthew had just finished finals and we finally got to catch up with the outside world. My family, well team L, came to visit Round Rock as well. Lesley came in on Thursday and Landon and my Dad headed in on Saturday. My mother is in Hawaii right now with her sister so it was different having just the four of us. Matthew had client counseling in Waco all day Saturday. It appears it may become a tradition when my Dad visits that we go eat in Walburg, Texas where they serve German American cuisine. It's actually a really fun atmosphere and Lel and I ended up doing the chicken dance with some little kids. I wanted to steal the little boy in the background, he was sooo cute! I don't know if I will ever really grow up but I think I'm actually okay with it. I seem to laugh the most when I feel like a kid anyway.

Sunday afternoon we drove to College Station to watch the game with Crick and Nick....whom we had not seen since our wedding!!!!! But like I mentioned.....life gets busy!! We are keeping our fingers crossed because they might be moving to Austin when Nick figures out where he will get an internship offer. Lesley went to go see Landon in C.S. She is the family traveler/bum right now. Although, she is going to be a nanny for a family for the next few months in New Jersey in the next couple of weeks until she goes to P.A. school. So looks like I will be going back to NYC (on a plane :( ) probably a couple of times to visit her.
