7-7-07, Lake LBJ , and the 3rd Trimester

He he he.....sorry! I know I know.......... but I have been too busy to blog as of late, or clean the house, go the grocery store, work in the yard...all the routine things. I think working in accounting keeps me extremely deadline oriented and insane. And I'm busy with plan season trying to meet a bunch of deadlines before I'm out on maternity leave. Pressure. But I always work best under it and it keeps me from feeling sorry for myself that I have two swollen feet and a pot belly! So yes, I'm still alive, pregnant, and hanging in there at 31 weeks! And for being this pregnant, I think I might be wearing myself out! That is probably not true, I love being active and that has made this summer very memorable and go by quickly. But I've hurt my left foot from exercising I think and that has made me real sad. Hopefully it will all clear up once Laney is here.

A couple of weeks ago, 7-7-07, was Landon's 21st birthday! So my family headed to Las Vegas. It was the most fun trip and I think I only saw one other pregnant woman! Seriously, but we had a great time and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved Las Vegas. The first time I ever went I thought I 'd never go back. And probably I thought I'd be miserable in 116 degree weather but the pool was nice and cold. Plus I'm a tight wad gambler, shocking. But I actually won $100 in black jack. Oh and Landon put $300 in a slot and hit 7-7-7 on his birthday, we were all really excited for him! And Matthew learned how to play craps. He stayed up pretty late every night. He was shocked, I don't know if he could decide if he had won in this picture. Then here is the fam minus Lel, she had several tests coming up. You can't totally see the belly but I am 29 weeks here...

L&M on the strip, I had just gotten the shirt I want to wear after I deliver. It's gray and really soft and comfy. And it says Born to Run :).

This past weekend Matthew and I headed to Lake LBJ with some of his friends from college. I have been sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and it's so odd not being my usual tan in July. But I haven't burned and even went out on the boat. The doctor said as long as the water wasn't too choppy and it wasn't too bad. And I helped to win a very serious game of flip cup. My Lord, these boys get rowdy but it was still fun. They even let me play sober and I helped to clinch the win! It was a great weekend away

After our win! Yippee! I love winning, I am so competitive I found this challenging! Pitiful.

This next weekend, finally we are going to relax in Round Rock. I say that but we have lots of baby stuff to do. The crib was supposed to come in a month ago but is now delayed until the end of August. Awesome. We are going to start spending gift cards and going to get the stroller and car seat and odds/ends. Everything else is in place in the nursery! I will post pics after the work and Llano shower. I figure I might accumulate a few more things after those and have to reorganize a bit. But I will say, I find such peace sitting in her little room. I can't imagine what it will feel like with her in it.

I just got some maternity pics done at 31 weeks! I can't wait to see how they turn out. I know that my belly button will make an appearance for sure. It's so popping out and funny to me and other people. I wonder if it will go back :).

Here are some pics of me in the latest weeks progressing....weeks 28,29,30,and 31. I forget to take them these days but hopefully you can see the growing growing growing! I love watching my stomach move and seeing her fist or foot poke out. I definetely understand how people miss the feeling but I can't wait to see her face and kiss her feet and toes!

28 weeks after run/walking....

29 weeks after prenatal yoga , I think I had just gone. I have pregnancy brain bad. I couldn't find my car the other day in the parking garage for 30 minutes!

Lastly 30 almost 31 weeks (today I am 31!), where has the time gone!
