36 Weeks!!!!!

We had our 36 week appointment today! OH MY! I loved seeing her practicing breathing on her own, that is such a miracle! And just knowing I could have Laney anytime and she'd be alright is what freaks me out. I think I need until my due date for my mental time to prepare myself for labor. I am just not that brave! I'm actually really starting to get nervous about all of it. I want to "try" to go into labor naturally and not be induced or have a C-section but I know sometimes these things are situational. Still, I just have to trust the good Lord that everything will go how it's supposed to, I just hope it's quickly :).

So here are pics of me from the side at 35 weeks and 36 1/2 weeks for all of you wanting to know what my belly "really" looks like! Not too many more peeks though, my momma gets mad at me showing my tummy on this and I get in trouble :). It makes me laugh, my belly button. It is totally sticking all the way out! Stephanie, you might not want to look :). I wonder how much Laney will weight too, they said right now around 5 1/2 lbs. We saw the most precious newborn at work the other day and she was 6 1/2 lbs and black hair/blue eyes. Beautiful little baby girl, I am so excited to be having one and I am getting sooooo ready to meet Laney! OH and the doc said I am carrying really low! Which shocked me b/c my belly looks super high but he said her head is way down and asked if I was going to the bathroom all the time. Of course I am! About every 1/2 hour all night and now I have this pregnancy rash going on. It's a real mess this sleeping thing, I just wish that could change once Miss L is here! Not so much!

Now my most favorite and consistent foods being pregnant are ice cream and watermelon (I eat one every week BY MYSELF!). And my belly looks like one :). So, this past weekend I surprised M and we went to the ice cream festival in Austin surprisingly sponsored by Whole Foods.

The other little girl is coming into town this weekend to see me before Laney is here. I'm really excited to see my sister and have this time with her before we have a new addition to our little family. I adore how Lesley already loves Laney and thinks that she is hers. I just can't wait to see her be an Aunt Lelli!

AND I am super proud of M today. He just found out he got a clerkship in Austin for this fall. Which is scary with all the changes that are about to go on but it's super competitive with UT here and him being at Baylor law/the commute/etc. I am just proud. I know in my heart he is trying to help out financially for the baby, since he is still in school. I know it will be hard with the time and me working but I feel like this is a God send and if there is a will there is a way. I'm so glad I married someone so driven and hard working! He sure keeps me on my toes and motivated!
