We began by going to church Christmas Eve....
And what a sleeping baby she was for us. She never fussed even when she woke up! 
Laney has a very inquisitive and quizzical look as I put the Santa hat on her. She sometimes does this and I love this worried face. My mother says I used to do it too! 
We had Christmas with the Crowell's early Christmas morning. Then back to the Berg's where they were waiting for us to open gifts :)! You can see my Dad holding "Laney" in the background, M welded her that for Christmas, so sweet. Matthew is such a good Daddy! 
I can't remember having such a fun time opening presents that weren't really for me but sort of :)! She was amused with all the wrapping paper and toys that make noises.... 
I think though, this year will also be known as the Christmas we all got PINK eye. Merry Christmas Berg clan! I think you can totally tell in this pic when we woke up....
Oh she was giddy after opening presents! I think she loved all the clothes my Momma got her!

Back in Round Rock for New Year's...Welcome 2008.....she seemed bored in the Bumbo but at least it gets her sitting up. She is rolling over now and giggling, I love it!

AHHH so much fun!! Just think next year this same time she will be sprinting EVERYWHERE just like her momma ;)
Laura, you and Matthew are clearly wonderful parents! I believe there is such a different "call" on you guys these days in raising your children for "a time such as this"! Sometime when you are out here, come see us! Stay in our cottages and be our neighbors for a while (I told Matthew I'd love to do that for you guys sometime!) Laney is beautiful. All 5 of ours are pretty cute too! we need to get them together for a BIG PLAY group (moms and dads too). hugs!
