Ferocious; it seems to be a word lately that would describe my child. She has found her personality and it can only be described as sweet with a kick of feisty and a fire in the belly! Laney thinks she is as ferocious, and brave, as a lion but she is not ever mean. She growls and makes all sorts of animal and spitting noises in the nicest kind of way. It's entertaining and fun to have our own kind of communication. Although, I don't have an idea of what it is I am saying to her but I think she does! It all translates to "I love you more than anything!"

We got to visit with Granny V last Friday. It was Matthew's 28th Birthday and we all got to celebrate together!

On Sunday, Matthew and I went on a picnic in Georgetown. It was a lot of fun getting to go on a picnic with a little family of three!

Happy Little!

Daddy on the Monkey Bar's. He made it look super easy, yet, it was flipping hard!

Laney is still trying to take off and fly across the carpet. She seems to rotate and move in all directions but not crawling just yet! I think the time though is just around the corner because she just seems close.

On Monday, Daddy's Birthday, she was as happy as she could be. We had pizza and Tiff's Treat's for dessert! Delicious!
And Laney had part of her Daddy's Titleist "favorite drives me crazy and I try to throw across the room" hat to chew on.

Kisses on the chin for turning another year older....

And then giggling with me...

I have actually found it to be decent exercise playing with her like such and it makes her giggle so!

And I know that Laney can be a girlie girl but I think she will be a little tomboyish too! A perfect mix! I like seeing her with a hat on, it's too cute!

Oh and Laney's thoughts on sweet potatoes this last weekend....

But we just had carrots and she couldn't eat enough! I think we may have found our favorite vegetable for now! I'm very pleased!
