we heart crawfish

M and L and I heart craw fish! I love playing with my food and then eating it. Although, this time it was more difficult to rip off the red and I opted for the gumbo. The day was still fun--we shopped, ate, and hung out with the Crowell's. I always enjoy my time in Fredericksburg and have always loved the little German town.
Laney got the last craw fish hat! She always responds to anything red and just giggled at the creature! She has a crab in the bathtub she loves too!

Laney and her beads! Kisses to Lane's from Daddy! and kisses from Momma! Laney watching other kids and talking to them.....On the way out of town Matthew asked me if I had ever been to Luckenbach. I thought, surely, in college or sometime and I know the song. BUT you know if you've been and I had not. It is literally a town with a bar and a general store with souvenirs. It was a blast! I was so glad we went off the beaten path and I can now say I've been to Luckenbach. Thank you Matthew for making me go.

Dancing with L...M really dancing with L....

A whole new meaning to "the chickens came home to roost!" I now understand the definition of roosting. I had never seen a chicken in a tree! I was like "Oh my gosh, there is a chicken up there!!!! " I was taking pictures of this chicken and people were laughing. Then I realized there were like ten more in other branches spread throughout the tree.

Funnnnn!! we have a rather sad story about roosting guineas...that maybe won't be shared! but it is a strange sight huh? tell Matt that the Grovers are moving this weekend. my old youth group's families are slowly moving into places where their young ones (or old) can be closer. BUTTTTT we're still here!
