Build a Kitty

Laney and I went a couple of weeks ago to Build a Bear. We had received a gift card for her birthday and I think it was poker night for M. Laney and I do fun stuff when he gets to. So we went and built a kitty!

Laney picked out the purple halloween cat. I should not have been surprised because she loves kitties! She was so sweet picking out the heart. She kept saying heart beat and looking up at me. That is what I have called her for so long and I think she remembers!

Anyway, they stuffed the cat with the heart beat in her hand- Laney kissed it before it went in- and then sewed up the kitty. She did not want to give it to the lady to stuff. She just got the kitty back and looks distraught.

Then she got to give her kitty a bath.

Then we got to name her and take her home. I asked Laney "What do you want to name your Kitty?" and she said "Meow". I think she thought I said "What do kitties say?"

She could have cared less about dressing her and shoes and all that. We still have quite a bit left on our gift card and will get to go back at some point! I thought it was a lot of fun and can't wait to go again!

And Laney hasn't slept without Meow since!
