The first weekend in June we headed to the ranch for the Llano Rodeo and Enchanted Rock. Just a reminder, for someday when I question.....Texas truly is the most beautiful state. I'm so proud to be from here. The vastness of the climate and nature's beauty that we simply sometimes over look. I was reminded of that in these pictures.
The girls loved the rodeo. I'm a little afraid that might want to start "doing gymnastics on a horse" after they saw it done. And the bull riding is probably everyone's favorite but certainly mine. I kept begging Matthew to try it. Only because I think he could do it.
Saturday morning we went fishing! All the little girls caught a fish.....with the help of their Daddy. Mommy did not catch one. I started to get a little compulsive about it. Next time. Always next time.
I think these girls look pretty cute in hats.
Swinging with my babiest girl. We were getting ready to head to Enchanted Rock! We've been trying to do this for, oh I don't know, almost 8 years! Finally. And of course it's with a boat load of people. I'm glad though. The girls will do this stuff when they are little and when they are older they won't be afraid. Like me. I still get nervous! I guess some things truly never change.
Nice breeze. With my babies girl. Swinging on a front porch. Beauty. Such searching and kind eyes.
Truly a beautiful day. A happy day.
Alright Landry Anne! Here we go!
This actually was a lot different than I expected. A lot steeper is what I am trying to say. Going with a baby in the Ergo, well it was doable. But I was very nervous and glad to have Matthew.
We did take a few water breaks and had a picnic at the top.
Love the foot grab Landry. Even on top of the rock she grabs her foot. One more reason I adore four year old Landry.
Love this family picture.
Someone actually called me a brave Momma. If they had only known I was afraid of heights and nervous as could be! But I am so happy I got to do this with our little lady crew. I'm sure it won't be the last time but it certainly was the first!
These are some pictures we took on the porch at the ranch in May. I just didn't want to forget about these as I always do our blog books :)!
