The Lorax

The Lorax is now one of my favorite children's movies! Thank you Dr. Seuss for such an original mind. The movie centers around a place called "Thneed-Ville", a walled city that is completely fake, artificial, and plastic. The plot circles around a little boy who wants to find a real tree for a girl he has a crush on and meets the Once'Ler whom tells the story of Thneed-Ville. Through flashbacks you get to know the Lorax and how he is the protector of the trees and a cute, very orange, grouch. Anyway, the movie was clever, colorful, and fun to see with the Alsabrook's! I can't wait to watch it again!

Here we are at the theatre with our 3D glasses, popcorn, sour patch kids, and Diet Coke. What a way to spend the afternoon with the girls and their buddies!
